I have at different times had the original "Ashes" pressing, as well as the Wooden Box and the Grau pressing. Cut quality definitely differed between them all. I've got the Grau one now, but it's definitely the lowest quality of the three, so I'd be interested to know if these new ones measure up cause I'd be keen on grabbing that + "The Mantle"

Are the re-issues even out? I always check Amazon first (no local will have them, and they have the best and cheapest shipping options) and they say they're coming out in August. However, they often say the "release" is much later than it actually is.

Eisenwald already got theirs in (on black, I guess) so some copies are out there by now.

Alex at Metal-Fi was told they were remastered, and the new vinyl master is used for the new CD presses as well. To be verified, of course.

Just pre-ordered all the three reissues from amazon.uk for 65e total incl. postage. Release was dated to first week of August.

Fucking Pelican are now recording album 6!
Also, Dark Tranquillity, should be out in November in time for their US tour with Swallow the Sun.
