Ha, saw that 'un earlier.

Introverted and lonely? Arguable. Middle-aged? Sure, if 22 is the new middle age.

In that case, I'm over the hill.

Wow yay blanket statements - look at the original article, the %'s are barely different regarding most of their facts between vinyl buyers and the population at large.

I still can't figure out what I think of "Arcturian." Hated the track premiere(s). Saw them perform tracks off it live and wasn't convinced. First listen through the album, it was a lot better than I expected but still the production bothered me a lot. As time goes on, I've been spinning it more and more. Honestly, can't decide what I think of this album. :|

Black Crown Initiate just got had their van brpken into at the end of their tour with NeO. $5,000, plus passports and laptops all gone.

Now, who leaves $5,000 in a van?!?!?

Also, no, I don't think NeO took it all as part of yet ANOTHER elaborate fleecing scheme.

RE: Off-Topic Madness - Blood Music - 08-16-2016

Yeah - I was thinking the same, don't leave passports and 5 grand in an unguarded van with no vantage point through the window. :|

The crowdfunding for them was set up by NeO btw. But just a side note.

Anyone looking for an interesting read about the record industry? No, it doesn't apply to every label, but here is a piece about the downfall of Victory Records:

Yup, happened here. Of course they were just coming through and stopped for food, they already played here over a month ago. Doesn't stop people across the country from blaming the venue yet again.

Glad I saw them that time month ago, because I doubt I'm ever seeing them again in this city. Although they're a band that tours 24/7 and have only been here twice in two years (both off-dates), so not much difference.

Dude I actually just played this a few days ago and was blown away by side A, like, I REALLY REALLY loved it. Then got distracted by a dragon in Skyrim during side B so I can't recall if I liked it or not. But yeah it is a grower. Production is shite, though.

Apparently Tejas & Missouri are the worst places to leave band vans unattended Sad

Dragons: Ruining music listening since 2011.
