I thought it's pretty interesting how NOT into it most of them were, but as soon as the kids were told the band is a 'classic' and best in genre, then most of them changed their minds, haha! Then again, they played them all the better Metallica songs later in the video anyway.

Hahah, no I don't road test vinyl or CD masters that way at least! But a lot of my casual listening yeah - I find the most important thing is just getting used to speakers and how they behave. I personally feel like you can test (or enjoy) on many many kinds of set up, as long as you attune your ears to the setting.
