No!! They had beer for sale there? Haha, I was kind of in a daze the whole time - not that kind of daze. There was just so much happening, I'm sure I was unaware of 50% of what was going on. Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure I missed 50% of the bands I wanted to check out but it happens!

RE: Live Shows - kadaver - 04-26-2017

Yeah, haha, it was being served in multiple venues around the time of them playing as well as the meet & greet. I didn't manage to get any myself; totally forgot. Really curious as to what'll be on the lineup next year. And, did you get totally hooked on the festival? Big Grin

I know anomynous mentioned the fest before, but for those over in North America who couldn't make it to Roadburn, or just wanna go to a Roadburn-esque fest with more of an emphasis on synthwave: you should totally check out the Days of Darkness festival, organized by the people from Maryland Deathfest. It looks amazing. I kind of hope they'll add another festival in the NL like this, we're kind of left with a gaping hole now that Incubate festival is no more. Although Incubate never got us no synthwave.

Oh, Incubate is no more? Damn, really wanted to go to that festival some year. As I would Roadburn, too. But probably can't fit that to my schedule as I really liked Oration and have a feeling I'll be wanting to visit it next year as well. That being in February, it kind of rules out chances for another festival trip abroad in spring.

Oh, by the way, the CMX gig I mentioned sold out already. I'm glad I for once didn't think too long about buying the tickets.

Yeah, there were some internal problems after the 2015 one, which is when I attended a day for the first time to check this out:

In 2016, they split it up into 4 shorter festivals, and they announced this year they couldn't host the festival any more because there was no funding. Not sure if they still had the Natuurtheater gigs last year. I only went to one day of the one in May to see Valborg and Aluk Todolo, but it felt really deserted compared to something like Roadburn. They used mostly the same venues as well. Festivals are dying all over it seems, Blastfest in Norway died earlier this year, as well as Nidrosian Black Mass having its 5th final edition at the end of 2015, which was held in Belgium for some reason. Probably because of some sort of difficulties with organizing the fest in actual Nidoras.

could you please take a pic of the merch they have this time around? I am about to get me a couple from their store but if they have them with them I'd rather get them there and avoid shipping costs.

Next gig will be Gost or Those Poor Bastards. Not sure if I will go to Antwerp to catch GosT, but if I don't I'll see him in either Utrecht or Eindhoven. Will be my first time seeing GosT. Will probably catch him with NeoSlave as support.

RE: Live Shows - Blood Music - 04-27-2017

GosT rules live, high recommend

RE: Live Shows - Godflesh - 04-28-2017

One of the best ex tempore shows I've had this millennium. I heard about her first time today and went to the gig and was blown to smithereens. Eivör Palsdottir. Fuck Yes.
