I was just listening to that now ... I gotta say it didn't do as much for me as last stuff. Halfway in now and it sounds a little overbaked to me ... might need to give it a few listens.

Like it or not, I think that place is pretty influential. There are some extremely knowledgeable people about music there. But yeah, I think if the topic goes clear of music or media, I'd avoid talking on there, haha.

Yeah, they might know a lot about music, but it's just really hard for me to read the forum, 'cause every other topic seems to be some kind of whining and moaning about "SJW's" and "PC's" and whatever NS people like to bitch about. But yeah, sorry for the off topic. I, too, have a bit of mixed feelings about the song. Not an instant hit like Aura or Soma, but I'm ready to give it a chance.

Yeah, okay fair is fair, I'll check out the album when it's ready but my reasonable hopes for a great record are kinda dashed now. :|

Heh, I guess you're right :) I'm still waiting for the album, but yeah, I kinda hope they would've kept their gritty sound instead of that more polished one. We'll see.
