I've manufactured a handful of these which is a slight modification on some designs that a few companies stock in North America. No such design is in commercial use in Europe as far as I'm aware, and I was tired of shipping with "the best on offer" in these parts, which wasn't so great after all. The Blood Music mailer provides wide crush-proof air space on two sides of the LP, which prevents nearly all cases of corner damage, as it takes the pressure points away from the corners. It's an easy-fold cover which then locks into place, not only preventing damage but also making this quick to pack up. This is the simpler design that I've had constructed, there is a much MORE complex design which sadly didn't make it past prototype stage yet due to the costs. If this goes over well, I will mass produce these and then we can look into some more complicated designs as well for the ultra-rare vinyl of the world. There will only be 20 packages of this sold (in bundles of 25) as part of the initial run. If they sell out quickly and there is demand for more (and people like what they receive), then we will put in a larger run and make this an actual thing. Intended price is 1,50 € per mailer (so bundle of 25 is 37,50 € + shipping). Not even sure if this will make any money, we'll see! Let us know if you're interested in this.
