That's actually half the reason I bought it! haha

The music itself is, I don't want to say strange, but different - it starts off full on outlaw country with Waylon Jennings's music there (this album is by his son Shooter Jennings) and quickly transitions into a synthy rock style, My understanding is this is a tribute to the musical scores created by Giorgio Moroder - and each part of the cover is also related to one of the song's on the album, which is then related to Giorgio as he created that piece of music for each particular movie - Top Gun - The Never-ending story - Cat People etc - it actually ends with a very awesome cover of Davie Bowie's "Cat People" done by Marilyn Manson

Its a very different but I think very awesome album Big Grin

Took a gamble on a $10 shipped average condition copy of this:

It's in about what you would expect condition wise for 1973, I got it for $10 so I was never expecting good, plenty of visible marks and scratches on the surface, first play was pretty horrid, noisy, hissy clicky poppy and skippy all throughout, ****. Decided to give the record a thorough wet clean, and it came up pretty awesome, it went from a matte finish to a super shiny black again, there are still marks there but they are no longer as pronounced, I just finished a full play of it now, there is still some slight clicks and pops between tracks, but the hissing, and more importantly, the skipping has been totally eliminated, I might give it a second clean and see if that improves it any more, as it was properly dirty! My gamble paid off!
