Revisiting some Meteor.

How many of synthwave artists do their thing with real analogue synths? I've heard that Lost Years does his thing like this but are there more?

I thought there are quite a few, actually.

But for instance, Perturbator uses software emulators, right?

Perturbator uses mostly softsynths with a tiny bit of outboard. The guitars are real. I think Tommy '86 and Makeup and Vanity Set and Waveshaper and stuff use synths, it's just up to personal preference of the artist I guess.
