Saw Wrath of the Titans on Netflix, mainly because I couldn't decide on what to watch and thus deserved punishment. Well.

I watched 'ARQ' on Netflix - it's a fun little time travel/"looper" movie. Definitely not on par with 'Primer', but not a bad way to waste an hour and a half. Low budget, small cast.

First trailer of the upcoming IT has finally been released. Looks better than expected.





Also, going to see Trainspotting 2 on the big screen after all. Thought that I'd have to wait till it's out on DVD as cinemas here didn't seem to show it in OV and I really didn't want to see it in german. Now we've found a place where they show it in english with german subtitles, and that's as good as it gets.

weird, T2 is not on cinemas in Dallas yet so I think I will for amazon prime to have it for free.

I enjoyed the IT trailer, except for that scene in the sewer with Pennywise shaking his head rushing at the kid. What I loved from the original film is how anti-paranormal (as in, as part of the physical realm or something) he looks, so I hope they don't do away with that this time. Stephen King said the remake is good, not sure if that makes a difference.

yeah it's been out for 3 weeks now I think. I just checked and it is available at exactly 3 theaters and they're all a long drive from my place

Just checked because your post made me wonder wether I actually missed it: T2 (as in Terminator 2) won't hit german cinemas until the end of August 2017. But then I realised that you're referring to Trainspotting 2. :-D
It was alright, really. But nothing special. Being someone who has read the sequel by Irvine Welsh (entitled "Porno") when it came out in 2002, I expected Danny Boyle to stick to the original story, which he hardly does at all. But then again, Irvine Welsh acted as Executive Producer, so maybe him and Boyle agreed beforehand that instead of risking to screw up the book, developing a new storyline might serve the purpose better.

Saw "The Neon Demon" at the weekend. Nice visuals and smart music as ever from Winding-Refn, unfortunately I found the overall product a bit pretentious, with the story dragged out too much.

It redeemed itself partially by having Keanu Reeves play, for the first time ever, a character that ISN'T Keanu Reeves. :-p

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was a letdown for me ... but it is visually and aurally incredible. Lost almost all the charm from the first film though.

How did you see it already? Is it out earlier in Finland? May 5 in the States...
