Quite a catchy track. "Show Yourself" makes me think of Queens of the Stone Age. From what I remember the other tracks were not as radio-friendly as this one.

new depeche mode is underwhelming and it makes me feel sad inside.

New Mastodon sounds good after two rounds. Need to play more. The album as a whole would be better without the crappy Show Yourself.

Okay, well, maybe I'll have to give it a chance at some point then. I've just been so disappointed in their stuff after the magnificent Crack the Skye.

This is the first time after Crack The Skye that I'm excited to listen to the album. This is no CtS, but it's better than the previous two. Though I sorta like OMRtS too.

OMRtS is such a solid album, not sure why most people did not like it, I loved it and still listen to it. It might have helped that I saw them tour for that album twice. Hunter, I don't think I even know the names to its songs and have only spun it three times.

I feel like the odd man out when it comes to Mastodon. I think Crack the Skye is boring (especially after the masterpiece that was Blood Mountain), but I loved The Hunter. I've given Once More Around the Sun a bunch of tries, but it just hasn't stuck with me. I do really like what I've heard from the new album (yes, including 'Show Yourself'), so I'm definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of it.
