Heh, I wouldn't bet on any of my previous band examples to appeal to a person who's more into progressive or technical death metal, but of course you can try
At some point I've also enjoyed prog/tech style of dm as well, but nowadays I've grew a bit tired of it and mostly like my metal a bit more raw and unpolished. However, there are of course always exceptions. For example, I still bow to greatness of Death.
Both Thrower's awesome, respect for your mission! The Chalice of the Ages is also one of my favorite albums. Too bad Deathevokation seems to be split up, as at one point they were talking about making a new album.
