Yeah, totally agree with that sentiment. "The Horror" was definitely death metal, but their last few offerings dwell somewhere between death and black with some psychedelic influences. They also seem to be decreasingly "extreme metal" at the same time, replacing it by smearing on some extra gothic each release. Either way, also one of my favorites of last year!
