Well it was Freak Out, the official unofficial Kingston Wall, but as far as bass and guitar goes, it was like young KW when Petri Walli was alive. And there's nothing to diss the drummer either, but he's not THE Sami Kuoppamäki, even though the other two managed to fill the legendary shoes just perfectly.
The semi-improvs and fullon freakouts a la authentic Kingston Wall were unbelievable. The Jimi Hendrix song Fire got an improvised reggae mid-section and extended soloing out of the normal Kingston Wall live range. The best 5euros I've spent in a loooong time. Hell, you can't even buy a regular lager in a bar for that money. That was a work of pure love and they do that only a few times a year. I need more of this shit! And Kingston Wall. Thank god Kingston Wall's live bootleg gets an official vinyl release in a month.
