Haha, I had a lot of nighttime drives 'round when I discovered Pertsa, so I always blasted him in the car. Really gets you in the mood and atmosphere. Can imagine what a thunderstorm would add.

Hey folks - I wanted your opinions here.

The slipmats came in, and the print is a bit darker than was anticipated.  I spoke with the slipmat people, and they ran a few extra tests and this extra-contrasty look is what keeps coming out.  Must have something to do with the way the ink hits the material.

What do you think of this?  Is it still good to you?

Looks fine to me. There's probably going to be one or two weenies who complain it's slight off colour but they're like the dinged corner guys

I'm in two mind with this one. I cannot immediately say whether I'd have bought that or not considering the end result so I can't in all honesty just say it's all good. It does seem to lose quite a bit of details at least in the picture. Hopefully it looks better in "real life". Obviously I do realise possible problems with the picture as color combinations aren't the easiest possible. In the end you gotta live with what you're given.

It looks just fine. You get the kind of picture that is possible on this kind of material. I don't see any real problem with this.
If someone is totally unhappy about it, you can ask him to return it and send a blank slipmat as a replacement.

Slipmats are never going to be perfect prints due to the material. If people want perfect prints, they can beg the artist to sell them an original.

OK cool thanks for weighing in. :] It's hard for me to be objective cause I've seen the artwork so many times on so many types of surfaces.

I wasnt sure, but the more I look at it the more I like it. It got a kind of retro-effect I feel.....which totaly work with Perturbator retro-futurist style...
