Iron Maiden "Brave New World" black 2LP (HMV exclusive 2016).

Seriously had no idea about this. Turns out that it's coming out later in the year, but HMV got dibs on selling a limited run over Fathers Day weekend (just gone in the UK). I happened to be in town this afternoon killing time whilst the missus had a hospital appointment and spotted it hidden amongst the soundtracks... someone was obviously coming back for it later, but they won't get it now, BWAHAHAHA!!! They're already going for £50 - £60 on Discogs and eBay, but don't waste your money, like I said, it's getting a wider distribution later this year (or maybe next year?).

It sounds AWESOME btw. The printed inner sleeves are pretty good too, but the cover and rear look like CD blow-ups.

Don't you wish they used a brighter red than oxblood? I was really underwhelmed by the split colors last time (Silver in Blood, Times of Grace) because of the oxblood, wish I picked the silvers instead.

Underwhelmed is the operative word here. It's bland. Silver and that both go well with the new sleeve colours though, but I didn't want to double the price by ordering from the USA, so I went with oxblood.

A bit of image spam here sorry!

this week I had these arrive, first one being the new Garbage album, Strange little Birds

Its a beautiful album, track wise, and actual album wise,  I had to take a bunch of photos cause Its so awesome, to me anyway







There are only 3 "sides" according to the track list, the D side is "blank" with awesome looking laser etched Jaguar's onto the surface, I love that, but on the outer edge it looks like there were grooves, as if there was a track there, I gave it a go, and sure enough there was, its not listed nor can I find anything about it anywhere, A real mystery haha, Ill keep looking to find out what it is!
