Well a lot of people hate remakes and, apparently, all-female casts. It's got a 73% on rottentomatoes which sounds about right.

Yeah I saw that, so I was really curious about the disparity, otherwise I would've written it off. Disclaimer: not a huge fan of the originals, but I do think they're fine. I guess I'll just wait til this comes to video, too many other things I'm actually interested in seeing!

Yeah fuck that was a lot better than I expected, even better than the first Cloverfield. Clever concept and really well executed.

I really loved the 1st one, but I loved that this was an alternate universe of the same concept.

Saw "Finding Dory" at the weekend. As good as, possibly better than "Finding Nemo". :-)
