Mick reckons the new AN is the best thing he's ever put out, I need to give it a listen. Madder Mortem is also out today.

I think musically it's really great, but the vocals just take me out of it completely. OK I'll check the Madder Mortem, didn't realize it was out too.

New Urfaust has a good sound too, but I think it didn't have enough to grab me through it. Namely, I think the album intro is too long, which prevented the whole album from sinking its teeth in. I think it's a good release though, I just never felt like "wow, this is fucking amazing"

Haven't dared to listen to Krypts' stream yet, I'll probably save it 'till my pre-order arrives. But based on the preview tracks, my hopes are really high!

The debut Whores. album was released today and I haven't been able to stop listening to it.

I'm not exactly sure if this has been posted here before, since it seems like I managed to completely miss this, but the first Emptiness preview track from the upcoming album is online! 





Earlier I would've probably posted stuff related to this band in the Death Metal thread, but they seem to evade classifications more and more with each album. Nevertheless, I think this sounded very promising, quite a haunting piece.

New release from Pryapisme, rearrangements of old demos. Not so great compositionally as the real recent stuff but it's pretty cool. All you fans of metallic nintendo prog and electronic stuff may get into the fun.

Yeah I heard the Emptiness track already, sounds interesting .. but I don't know what to make of the release yet. Very different than their last.
