Maybe. Or those really high pitched sounds when the volume level itself isn't that high even. Or combination of those.
Anyway, there's a reason I haven't written anything elsewhere yet. Namely I really don't want to spread false information. Hell, I waited quite a while before posting here too.
At first I thought this resonating was only problem with these CBL albums because I hadn't noticed it ever before. That made me quite worried and even more negative at first. Later I have noticed it with few other albums / tracks as well. Though off the top of my head I can only think Burzum - Tomhet right now.
GRIPE: Y'all 'Muricans drink like pussies. Pussies that Trump'll grab you by.
Seriously, everyone I've met out here likes a drink, but can't handle too much. There's no chilled social drinking, just "Y'all lets get ferked erp!", Bored already.
Some days I'm just kicking myself for being such an obsessive fool with vinyl - and the whole package in general. Everything would be so much easier and cheaper otherwise. Things that make other people cringe and ask why the fuck would you do that??
I love the new wooden Opeth box set. However, upon arrival I noticed that the logo paint layers on the lid were a little off center, I mean not directly on top of each other, so the logo looks quite blurry. I thought I could live with it just fine, as I actually got a copy of the damn box, but no. It drove me nuts that every time I looked at the box, my sphincter clenches as the logo looks like it's vibrating. It still does. Being also a huge long-time fan, I bought a second copy, and kicked myself for doing such a stupid-ass thing.
Anti-gripe: the second box is just perfect and I know I will feel only pleasure every time I take the box from the shelf, instead of cringing and creasing my brows out of disdain over shoddy bad-looking work.
Yeah mine has that "blurry" effect too! But I ain't giving them any more moneys now that I actually decided on driving all the way to Arkansas to see TOOL haha. I guess I'll just tell myself it's a cool gimmicky effect and move on.
Gripe: when you preorder the new Testament album on splatter, and Nuclear Blast sends you the more expensive boxset. Why the gripe? Because it's a pic disc.
Just the other day I was wondering why I didn't buy the box set, but took the splatter. I guess that answers it then. The artwork wasn't so outstanding that it would be worth owning a picture disc. Are you going to keep it or send it back?
