I already was less excited about the album than the previous one by a lot. But wow ... the album artwork was really not well chosen, it seems like a zoomed in piece of an image found on the web, it's so incredibly soft, the resolution is nowhere near high enough for what they were trying to do imo. If a band turned that in, I would've rejected it. Also ordered it from the band themselves as it was supposed to come with an exclusive screenprint - I can't tell if it's a screenprint, it actually doesn't seem like it to me though. And again, it's a highly pixellated lo res image. Hey, maybe it's their aesthetic but not mine at all. I mean there is a very big difference between lo fi and lo res. Was really disappointed on this one in just about every way possible.

It's all good, I heard the album before it arrived, but I was willing to give the vinyl a shot. It arrived about ~2 months late - no crazy big deal but when I finally opened it up and saw it - it was just like wow, ultimate disappointment. You have the vinyl as well, hugo? I think I probably won't even open the LP. I pre-ordered it and sadly everything about it is rubbing me the wrong way. I'm rarely this prissy by a long shot, but this one's probably getting sold off without a spin considering the total experience.
