Finally saw Triptykon live a little over a week ago. Loved the show, although I think the setlist could be better. 4 pre-Monotheist songs, 1 Monotheist song and 5 Triptykon songs. The pre-Monotheist stuff is fun live, but would rather hear more Monotheist or Triptykon songs. Demon Pact is pretty much my favorite song; some of the heaviest stuff I've ever heard, amazing atmosphere, but they've never played it live. I wasn't expecting them to play that either, but still.

Katatonia tonight, I think the band is completely different since I last saw them 10 years ago. Still excited. Also, Caspian is opening Smile

Neurosis is coming to the Nordic countries in summer. But I sadly have to pass, as the price is 50 EUR !

I'd pay 50eur for Neurosis as I've never seen them live.

Yup, it's expensive as fuck and I'm hesitant as well because of the price. The gig will probably sell out regardless.

I saw them about 20 years ago, was worth every penny then but it also was cheap as hell. Still one of the best concerts I've ever seen, but I've seen footage back then and footage now, and I think they were probably a lot more dynamic back then. Although I do really like their new record. I still think 50 is too much for me to swing for a 1 band gig.

I've only seen them a couple of years ago at Tuska, but the festival surroundings don't really fit their atmosphere. Not to say it would've been bad or anything, quite enjoyed it, but I think it would be on another level in a smaller club. Although I don't like Tavastia that much.

Sunny day at Tuska - Neurosis - not the best possible alternative. It was Ok, but it lacked something. I'm not going to shell €50 for them though.

Yeah, after I saw them in the 90s I picked up the Ozzfest video back in the day to relive the memory but even that one track on the VHS they played didn't match the atmosphere of the small club I saw them in.
