Doesn't seem to be a single interesring release this year. And there are like hundreds of pointless releases again. Madness, Sparta, whatever. That's what this is.

Hahaha!
![]() The LP that got me interested this year has never been released before - and most likely will never be released ever again. So yeah, I hope not to be disappointed. But well, maybe one release out of no-idea-how-many isn't exactly a lot.
One hundred billion dollars!

I was really excited about Coheed and Cambria's 'Good Apollo' release on vinyl, but then I found out it's expensive, 150g, and not a RSD exclusive. I'll pass and maybe pick it up later if the price drops.

not sure what y'all are talking about but I already set up my alarm to go stand in line before 4am to score those Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam 7"s. I do it because I hate myself too.
black vinyl can always wait.

It is my understanding that RSD is built a lot on big labels pushing out meaningless releases, which are prioritized at the pressing plant and therefore end up postponing smaller labels' and bands' releases. Not 100% if this is correct, but if that's the case, I can give no support for such an event.

I'm after the Coheed & Cambria and Elastica reissues. Neither are RSD exclusives, so I'll pick 'em up on Amazon after. Bollocks to getting up early on my day off, driving 50 miles then standing in a queue of hipsters and flippers for two records.

A new one opened a few months after in 2014 and that's like 10 minutes away from me so that helps. Plus it's one of the few days I actually get out of the house to go buy records.
