"The Blood Music vinyl mailer.

I've manufactured a handful of these which is a slight modification on some designs that a few companies stock in North America.

No such design is in commercial use in Europe as far as I'm aware, and I was tired of shipping with "the best on offer" in these parts, which wasn't so great after all.

The Blood Music mailer provides wide crush-proof air space on two sides of the LP, which prevents nearly all cases of corner damage, as it takes the pressure points away from the corners.

It's an easy-fold cover which then locks into place, not only preventing damage but also making this quick to pack up.

This is the simpler design that I've had constructed, there is a much MORE complex design which sadly didn't make it past prototype stage yet due to the costs. If this goes over well, I will mass produce these and then we can look into some more complicated designs as well for the ultra-rare vinyl of the world.

There will only be 20 packages of this sold (in bundles of 25) as part of the initial run. If they sell out quickly and there is demand for more (and people like what they receive), then we will put in a larger run and make this an actual thing.

Intended price is 1,50 € per mailer (so bundle of 25 is 37,50 € + shipping). Not even sure if this will make any money, we'll see!

So far, great reaction to all of them.  A few more only, and then it's done.  As far as new albums coming out, I am only 100% sure of two of them.  There are several bands working on things that are supposed to be done on time, but I can't guarantee that cause it's also hugely dependent upon their schedule.  If I would guess, there are at least 5-7 by the time all is said and done, but we'll just have to wait.

I have been turning down projects left and right also, as I don't want to load up too much then.  There were only 9 this year if I'm counting correctly, and it was already pretty intense!

Nevertheless, looking forward to my break very much, I need something longer.  During that time also I intend to do a fair bit of back-end work - to update all the stores' software, hopefully find someone else to start shipping.  Cause I just don't want to touch packages anymore. ]]>

I found em while I was discovering Perturbator's stuff at the same time - even Tonight while I was browsing the Perturbator LP's for sale on the Blood Music Store, I stumbled across the Gire Limited edition coloured 2xLP set, I didn't know about this previously, and instantly bought a copy then and there haha

I'm interested to see others thoughts too - Apparently they did a metric fucktonne of Live performances - that would have been cool to see ]]>

We've all been here a little while now, and whilst the vast majority of visitors here will continue to display an acceptable level of etiquette and respect for differing opinions, we have to be prepared for the occasional person trying to ruin things for others. 

Thus, a few general rules pre-empting potential future badness:

So - just a note that we are trying to do a follow-up show to the Flashback Future one from last year.  It has been a bit rockier road as things are getting bigger, etc. so we're just trying to work out the logic of whether it can work.  But all artists are currently on board.  More to be confirmed if and when it's for certain.

I also really wish to get Kauan out here to Finland, but as live is not a main focus of mine, it's a bit cost-prohibitive.  Still someday I hold out hope.]]>

This eerie, raw, psychedelic black metal band explores the inner reaches of the human psyche and is currently in production stages on its debut album.

Spiritually reminiscent of bands such as Oranssi pazuzu and  the project was borne out of years of production experimentation by Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams, Lord Mantis).

Over the course of several years, Sorceron has become the main vinyl mastering engineer for Blood Music's releases, including everything from Perturbator to Ensiferum.

And as Abigail Williams has been Sorceron's main outlet for experimenting with different extreme production styles, the band's latest album (“The Accuser”) proved the project had fully come into its own. Garnering fantastic reviews from most metal publications, we felt that Sorceron's material had hit an incredible stride that should be delved into much further.

The Accuser was conceived to mine the depths of the struggle between man and his inner universe. The plan is to explore that hole and continue going down, as deep as it will allow.

Production on the debut album is already underway, and an amazing demo track can already be heard below:
