I'm listening to the new Skyforest right now after coming across the track that exact track you posted (via Lightfox177). It was quite nice.
EDIT: I also got a little Caladan Brood vibe from this album, but not as epic. And Woods of Desolation.

So much great new blacky these days. Just stumbled upon this band, great, great, stuff. I remember checking their split with Unru back in the day and that was pretty damn fine as well.

Just came across this band via the YT channel Atmospheric Black Metal Albums.
Morphinist - Terraforming
It's a one-man band from Germany. The guy is crazy prolific; already put out 2 in 2016! That doesn't mean all will be quality, but the first track in that link was quite good. Long song, mix of clean and heavy parts, didn't get boring, good production with still a bit of grit to it.

I have to say I've never been too excited about Svartidauði, or to be more precise, I listened to them at some point and didn't get much of vibes out of it. However, being totally overwhelmed by that Zhrine album, I decided to give them another shot, and now the band actually sounds quite intriguing! Well, it wouldn't be the first time I've grown to like something. For example, I didn't like The Ruins of Beverast at all at first listen, but a year or so passed, I tried it out again and had to immediately buy all of their albums.

Yeah, I was the same way. Only really got into Svartidaudi last year. Really love their sound now. I liked what I heard from Zhrine but have yet to give the full album a spin. Should get to that. TRoB is one of those bands I haven't gotten into yet, but I'm sort of "saving it for later".

Ws really impressed by Zhrine, but still haven't cracked Svartidaudi (yet). I should revisit it. I am revising Alcest and am enjoying it more than I did on previous listens. I think...
