Weird, I watched Zoolander 2 last night also. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting ... but it was still pretty bad, haha.

There are some amazing remakes I have to say, but they aren't the norm. The Thing, The Magnificent Seven, Dawn of the Dead, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Evil Dead II, The Departed, 12 Monkeys, The Ring. You could definitely make a solid list of remakes.

I thought they were going to fuck it up but they actually pulled it off.  I guess it shouldn't be too surprising though since Marvel has been using their own source material and writers for their films.

I am watching that in an hour. Just need to drop by the car wash first, some stupid bird diarrhea-shat all over my car, it was probably a vulture, judging by the size of the shit. I hope it is okay, but I digress... I did not watch Ultron and most everyone said it was kind of a weak transitional piece and Civil War was where it's all at, so I have high hopes!

I saw this last weekend with friends, I thought it was great. Spiderman was superb I really hope they do something with him in a seperate movie other than another origins movie, it kinda helped that Marisa Tomei was Aunt May as well.

It actually made me want to watch ANT-MAN which I had previously skipped because I thought it looked well rubbish, but the character was a great addition to the the movie I felt.

"Ant-Man" was pretty good. Looking forward to seeing "Civil War" when I get the chance.

Watched "Macbeth" last night. I'd been looking forward to it for a while. The acting was great, the cinematography stunning... but it was a really dull adaption to sit through. Shame really.

that one came out around the time we had the H1N1 "outbreak" in mexico (I never actually met anyone who got it but oh well) and it just freaked me out more haha. Germophobes must really like these kind of movies.

I've got a DVD twin-pack of Contagion and Outbreak. Part of my job is CBRN training, so I like to use scenes from those films to scare people, haha.
