So we were at the same gig, cool!
I really enjoyed it. Been a huge fan of both his music and movies for a long time.

It was a good gig. Smile Frankly, I think it was overpriced for what was on offer, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Smile

Sounds like something people might say about the Emperor box set, haha
Although, perhaps 'enjoyed' would be an understatement regarding that.

Eh, if you know anything about manufacturing then I don't think you'd think that about the Emperor set.

The production value just wasn't very high on the Carpenter show. It was basically just a band on stage with some projections. It could've easily been thrown in a rock club for 15-25 EUR a head and been worth it. But came in a fancy concert hall at 80 at head (at least where I was sitting). No regrets, just my assessment of what was put into it. Could've been much grander for the price.

Wardruna will start their Ragnarok Tour in Leipzig on Nov 12. Only show in Germany. As I mentioned earlier and elsewhere, this month will have to be cheap, but I'll get my ticket within the next few days, for it will definitely sell out soon. I saw Wardruna once before, and their performance was just amazing. I personally regret the fact that Gaahl will not be joining them live anymore, but still I don't doubt that it will be yet another great experience.

I agree about the price. John must be in need of a pension plan because I've seen both Suede and Steven Wilson at the same venue and later in the year Opeth is playing there and the price for those shows are around 45 EUR...
Still I would say it was worth it. I'm so happy to have seen him play live!

Lasten Hautausmaa live semi-acoustic in Tampere central library this afternoon, some local brew on top.
In a couple of hours Lasten Hautausmaa live again, the 'proper' gig Smile

I'm just glad they're finally making their way to Boston, after their first show was canceled due to Cradle of Filth not having their visas.
