Ah interesting.  NWN people would probably gobble this up, so I'm surprised no translation.

The Sinister Flame posted on Facebook that there's a rumor about an English translation (of Pirunkehto, a book about Finnish black metal's history, if someone's reading this and wondering what I'm talking about) coming on February 2017. Don't know where they picked that up, but I'd find it a bit surprising if there wouldn't be a translation at any point.

Fas was a real disappointment when it came out, but I've actually grown to like their newer stuff nowadays. Still not that much into Fas, but I dig Paracletus.

Black metal sung in Finnish seems to have a strong year. I think Korgonthurus did their best release so far in "Vuohen siunaus" (https://woodcutrecords.bandcamp.com/albu...en-siunaus), it's furious, yet atmospheric. Deathkin's debut album, "Kohti Kotiani Kaaosta" (https://deathkin.bandcamp.com/releases), is definitely sounding interesting as well, had to give my support to this small band and ordered the cd.

Not sung in Finnish, but still Finnish black metal, Kyy's debut EP, which came out last year, was a nice introduction to the band and really got me anticipating their first album. Now they have the full-length up for listen at Inferno's site: http://www.inferno.fi/uutiset/suomalaist...kokopitka/ At first listen I have to say I am a bit disappointed, but will have to give it a few more spins.

Herbrand Larsen is leaving Enslaved, damn. I wonder what this means for Enslaved's future sound. It'll be really hard to replace him and make his work with Enslaved stand out in a live setting. Glad I got to see them one last time with Herbrand last month.
