I think all the best albums of the year are coming out now.  Everything I'm hearing coming out now (including some early album streams) blows the beginning of the year out of the water.  I really only remember liking 2-4 albums from January to August max, and all those 'best of' lists on user ratings sites was pretty lame stuff, but the year is really heating up now.

Yup, things are definitely heating up with announcements of new Dead Congregation and Deathspell Omega as well! :)

I just realized I never got an order confirmation for Alcest - Kodama (or deleted the email into oblivion?) but there is a charge on my card. I reached out to prophecy to check if everything's in order but no reply thus far. Wonder if that customer service form even works. I just want my Kodama

Damn it, pre-ordered the new In the Woods 2LP with a friend, and he just said that he got an email from Debemur Morti saying that the vinyls had arrived from the plant, and they all had a flawed C side. So, I guess we'll wait a bit longer -___-

Not sure if there are any Riverside fans here but their latest album is up for PO @ cm distro. The US one is the light blue and it's just $21 for a triple LP so cool.
