Realised I might not have plugged my friend's project here. Debut full length came out a while ago. Slow to mid tempo atmospheric black, might not be everyone's cup of tea. Guitars, most synths, mix/mastering by yours truly.

I've been really excited about Havukruunu lately. Perhaps the best newcomer in the, not only Finnish black metal, but Finnish metal scene altogether in recent years. Well, in all seriousness, I guess I should remind myself of other new acts I've enjoyed to fully stand behind that remark. But still, they're pretty damn great. No prob, dude! :) If you're going to that fest, I'm definitely urging you to check them out. I had heard about them and listened a bit already when the first album came out, but the gig at SteelChaos a bit over a week ago really convinced me! I wasn't as patient and bought the CD from the merch table there, but at least it was cheap, only 8 euros. Funny thing, I made an Instagram post with their hashtag and discussed with a friend of mine in the comments section of said post about how pity it is that the first full-length has been sold out. I was quite surprised when a member of the band contacted me in IG with a private message, saying that they had thought they were all out of the first album, "Havulinnaan", but had just recently found a couple of them at their rehearsal room. I met up with him last weekend in Helsinki central and bought "Havulinnaan" and "Rautaa ja tulta" EP from him :D
